Retouch Session - Jo Bullen - Psychotherapist

Jo was struggling to define her work as a self employed Psychotherapist after many years of working in the NHS, now she had to think about self promotion, her ‘brand’ and what it was she wanted to say in the very changed landscape of mental health.

She works with individuals, couples and families - her work is a collaborative experience, as are all our relationships.

Together we co-created her new mission statement and from that emerged 4 foundations (core values) that all her work stems from -

Interconnection, Integration, embodied communication and movement.

With the mission statement in place we moved on to aesthetics and how she wanted to visually portray her message. She was inspired by the beach and the colours of her new home in Portugal, so the palette became warm and sandy. Imagery of the ocean seemed fitting and a metaphor for the ever changing and dynamic nature of relationships and a reflection of one of her foundations - movement.
